The family of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has officially announced the funeral arrangements for the movie star following his tragic death at the age of 40.In an emotional post shared on the actor’s official Instagram page on Monday, the family described Ekubo as a man whose life was marked by love, generosity, faith and warmth, while thanking fans, friends and colleagues for the overwhelming support received since news of his passing broke.
“Forever in Our Hearts,” the statement began.
“With profound sorrow, yet gratitude to God for a life so beautifully lived and deeply impactful, we officially announce the funeral arrangements of our beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and colleague, Alexx Ekubo-Okwaraeke.”
The family said the outpouring of love, prayers, visits, messages and support during the mourning period had been deeply comforting.The overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, messages, visits, calls, support, and strength shown to the family during this painful period has been truly humbling. Words cannot fully express our gratitude,” the statement read.
“Alexx was deeply loved, and your kindness continues to remind us that his light, compassion, faith, and impact on so many lives will never be forgotten.”
