ECG reports that these places will be impacted on March 13 and 14 due to scheduled maintenance.

Parts of the Greater Accra, Tema, and Central areas will undergo regular maintenance on Thursday, March 13, and Friday, March 14, 2025, according to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

With certain regions of Accra experiencing outages till 5:00 PM, the planned repair, which aims to improve service delivery, will take place in most impacted areas between 9am and 4pm.

Areas in the Central Region that will be impacted on Thursday and Friday include Yoo Mart, Budumburam, Dr. Jesus, Roman, Prisons Camp, Nkwantanan, Nyame Adom, Green Estate, Everlip, and Fetteh Kakraba.

On Thursday, March 13, residents of the Tema Region will also be without power in places like Chapel Square, Nungua Beach Road, Posilipo, Regional Maritime University, Community 18, Devtraco Estates, Koi Larbi, Tsopoli, Shiloh, Luta, Agortor, Aveyime, Battor, Dove, and Vume.

Teshie Beach Road, Laboma, Maami, Oyarifa Ankonam, and Adenta Rhowi are among the impacted regions in the Greater Accra Region; electricity is anticipated to be restored by 5:00 p.m.

Residents in the impacted regions have been urged to take the appropriate safeguards by ECG, which has expressed regret for any disruption the scheduled work may create.
