Commercial drivers in Amasaman are crying out for help.

Joseph Mensah, a driver with the Amasaman Co-operative Transport Society Ltd, spoke to itrotronews concerning the challenges as a driver, he face numerous on the road. The bad road network with many potholes is a major concern. The narrow lanes make it difficult for us to drive through. And to make matters worse, some police officers seize their licenses and demand money before returning them, even if their vehicle and driving license are in order.”

Joseph Mensah also expressed frustration with the high cost of fuel, which is affecting their ability to feed their families. He’s calling on the government to intervene and address these issues.”

We are begging the government to come to our aid. We have been battling with passengers since they raise their transportation costs daily due to the high cost of gasoline.
