St. Augustine’s College celebrates its 95th anniversary with bestow celebrations.

During a week-long celebration of the college’s rich history and ongoing influence on education in Ghana, the St. Augustine’s College Past Students Union (APSU) will bring together alumni (APSUnians), students (Augustinians), staff, and well-wishers to mark the institution’s 95th anniversary.

The anniversary’s theme, “Leveraging Innovation Towards Economic and Social Sustainability for the Next Generation,” aims to honor accomplishments, encourage the next generation of leaders, and reflect on the College’s illustrious past.

An inter-house quiz contest, mentorship sessions, a medical outreach, a grand durbar, an awards ceremony, and a Thanksgiving service are just a few of the exciting events that will take place during the March 12–16, 2025, festivities. A regimental parade, a bonfire night, and a fireworks show are additional noteworthy occasions that represent the school’s continuing spirit.

The transfer of a legacy project by the hosting year group, APSU 2000, to support the College’s infrastructure growth will be a major feature. On March 15, the Speech and Prize-Giving Day will recognize exceptional professors and students, and a number of guests are anticipated to attend.

Additionally, the APSU Secretariat has updated year-group financial compliance and urged all members to fulfill their responsibilities. On March 14, the College Assembly Hall will host the APSU Annual Congress, where alumni will talk on the Union’s future.

The 95th Anniversary is anticipated to be a landmark event in the history of the school, honoring tenacity, creativity, and a dedication to quality. APSUnians from all over the world are anticipated to travel back to Cape Coast for the occasion.

All alumni and interested parties are cordially invited by the College Board and Management to attend the Speech and Prize-Giving Day on March 15, 2025, at the College Quadrangle promptly at 8 a.m.
