The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, last Wednesday launched the United Kingdom (UK) version of the Homowo in Accra with a call on Ga indigenes to lend a helping hand towards the development of the Ga State.
King Teiko Tsuru is scheduled to lead a delegation to London for the October 26, 2024 festival dubbed “Grand Homowo UK Festival 2024”.
The Ga Mantse said Homowo reflected a period of harmonious relationships, and urged the people of the Ga State to live the values of the festival by
mending fences and uniting to pursue the common development and progress of their people.
The launch in Accra was attended by a delegation of Ga community leadership based in the UK.

“We are dedicated to transform Homowo into a representation of hope and a rallying cry to end hunger, just as our ancestors once did,” she said.
